One big book or one per year?

Make it as big as your period allows. A longer book costs less per page, so one substantial volume is better value than the same memories cut into several smaller books — and it reads better too.

You split for one reason only: a book cannot go past 500 pages. Several years of posts usually will, which is why we generate a book per period to begin with, and why a year often makes a natural volume with its own cover and title.

If your period fits inside the limit, keep it whole.
