Does the editor save my work automatically?
Your changes stay with the book you are working on, and the book stays in My Library of Saved Books — so you can close the tab, come back later and pick it up with Resume editing. There is no separate save button.
What actually saves a finished book is Add to cart. That puts it in your basket, ready to order, and it is the reliable way to find it again.
Two things to keep in mind. Inside a window like Choose Content or Edit content, you must press Validate — closing with the cross or the Escape key discards what you did there. And after most changes the book is rebuilt: wait for Processing... Please wait a few seconds... to finish before you close the page or add the book to your basket.
