What is the difference between glossy and matte?
It is the finish on the cover. Glossy is shiny, makes colours look punchy, and shows fingerprints. Matte is flat and soft to the touch, looks more understated, and marks less. The pages inside are the same either way — semi-gloss soft paper — so this is purely how the outside of the book looks and feels.
