My changes aren't showing
Three usual causes. The book is still rebuilding — wait for Processing... Please wait a few seconds... to finish. You closed Choose Content or Edit content without pressing Validate, which is what confirms your choices there. Or you edited a photo without pressing Apply. Reopen the panel, redo the change, confirm it properly, then check the result in Preview.
Where to find it: Validate; Apply; Processing... indicator.
