Where is the save button?
There isn't one. Add to cart does that job: it puts the book in your basket, which is where a finished book waits until you order it, and it is the surest way to find it again later.
It is not a commitment. Nothing is charged until you go through checkout, and EDIT on the cart line reopens the book so you can keep changing it.
Inside a window like Choose Content or Edit content, Validate is what confirms the choices you have just made there.
